Cage made his way out with The Patriarchy. Cage immediately attacked Swerve with the microphone. Strickland was then planted with the Killswitch on his own AEW World Championship.

Christian Cage made it clear that he hasn't forgotten that Swerve once left Nick Wayne, a member of The Patriarchy, in a pool of his own blood. He also vented about losing a tag team coffin match with Swerve at the All In PPV back in August 2023.
