Baron Corbin On WWE Fans In France Chanting For Him: I’ll Be There Next Time

The crowd chanted for Baron Corbin at WWE SmackDown and WWE Backlash, even though he wasn’t on shows. Their support did not go unnoticed.

Baron Corbin previously proved that he was popular among WWE fans in France. At a WWE live event in Paris in April 2023, Corbin snapped his losing streak and beat Boogs. The crowd gave him a standing ovation, making it a night the former King of the Ring winner would likely remember for years to come.

WWE returned to France with the May 3 episode of SmackDown and the Backlash premium live event on May 4. Baron Corbin did not appear on the shows, but he took to social media to say that he heard everyone in France chanting for him. He wrote that he wished he was there to experience it in person. Corbin then vowed to be there next time, and he said that they would make the walls crumble.

Baron Corbin is set to return to the main roster for the first time in over a year. Following a prominent run in NXT, which included winning the NXT Tag Team Championship with Bron Breakker, Corbin has been drafted to WWE SmackDown. When he returns, he will wrestle on the main roster for the first time since June 2023.

Corbin is a former WWE United States Champion and Money in the Bank winner, among other accolades.
