Hikaru Shida‘s opponent has been confirmed for the October 28 episode of AEW Collision.
AEW previously announced that Shida would defend the AEW Women’s World Championship on the October 28 episode of AEW Collision. Her opponent was determined on the October 28 episode of AEW Rampage. There, Abadon made their return to AEW television for the first time since 2021 and defeated Anna Jay, Willow Nightingale, and Skye Blue to earn a shot at the gold.
AEW CEO Tony Khan then announced that the title bout will be a Fright Night Fight. No details about the stipulation were provided.
